REVOLTING: New Music Posted Online

October 14, 2008

REVOLTING — the new band featuring Rogga Johansson (PAGANIZER, RIBSPREADER) which is dedicated to the absolute worship of late '80s death metal (CARNAGE, IMPETIGO) and horror/gore films from the 1980s — has finished recording nine new songs, including "Trigger The Trap", which is available for streaming on the group's MySpace page. REVOLTING says, "We're looking for some bands and labels that will want to do some more split EPs or MCDs with this material, get in touch now!"

REVOLTING's debut album, "Dreadful Pleasures", will be released in November via Razorback Records, the label known for its obsession with old-school metal and horror. The band chose its name "to reflect the gross, nasty, gory, and insane horror films from the '80s such as 'Street Trash', 'The Blob', 'Redneck Zombies', and other mutant gross-out fests that make life worth living," according to a press release.

REVOLTING will release a six song mini-CD entitled "Bonesaw Leftovers" later this year via Last House On The Right Records. The track listing is as follows:

01. Bonesaw Leftovers
02. Grizzly Aftermath
03. Horror Hooker
04. Skull Scavengers
05. Slimetime
06. Vengeance Of The Nails
